Today I speak with film maker and reality TV producer, Robert Palmer about his films and his new project I Am Alone which he is using Kickstarter to raise the funding for. We also talk about Robert’s film People of Earth and some of his other work.

A friend of mine, Bobby Smith, has put a Kickstarter for his comic book project, iBotics. As many of you know, I generally don’t discuss my political views on this or any blog, on any podcast, or on social media. This is mostly because the political discussion in the United States has become so divisive and caustic of late that is nearly impossible to have a reasonable discussion about ideas anymore, and it has generally not been germane to the topics I like to pursue in my online discussions. Today I am breaking that silence, because the stakes are far too high, to urge you to write in Mike Huckabee as your choose for president on November 6th.
Now I realize that Mike Huckabee is not currently running for the office President of the United States of America (and votes for Mike Huckabee will be ignored by election officials in almost all states because of the way most election laws are written) but hear me out and you will understand the urgent need for you to do this. The fate of the whole world is literal in your hands. As you may know, Mike Huckabee ran a campaign seeking the nomination from the Republican party to run for President in the 2008 general election under the Republican banner. He lost. But during Mr Huckabee’s campaign none other than Chuck Norris endorsed him for the role of President of the United States.
Now Chuck Norris is not one to be trifled with. In his rage at Mr Huckabee’s loss he vowed revenge. Now keep in mind that Chuck Norris by virtue of his ability to divide by zero is not bound by the same rules and universal laws as the rest of us. Since the time of Mr Huckabee’s defeat Chuck Norris has been channeling his rage into his vast reservoir of power in order to ensure that he has enough energy to undertake his revenge on the whole earth if his endorsement is not heeded in the 2012 election. It is my belief that this revenge, because Chuck Norris is not without a sense of humor and a strong sense of irony, is to roundhouse kick the Earth into the Sun on December 21st 2012. (It could also be that the Mayan’s predicted this turn of events.)
I am sure you are asking why is Chuck Norris waiting until December 21st, 2012 to carry out his revenge and roundhouse kick the Earth into the Sun and that is an excellent question. I can’t say for sure, but I believe the answer is threefold. One, I believe that Chuck Norris has a sense of Justice that requires him to give us a second chance to do the “right” thing before he can punish us. Two, I believe that to carry out a feat of such great power he needs to build up a significant amount of energy reserves, and whatevers rules Chuck Norris is governed by prevent him for doing it instantly. And three, as mentioned above, he has a strong sense of irony.
So to recap, in order to prevent Chuck Norris from roundhouse kicking the Earth into the Sun on December 21st, 2012, we must elect Mike Huckabee to the office of President of the United States of America on November 6th. And we can only do that by writing him in on the ballot.
I beg you. Please write-in Mike Huckabee for President on your election ballot on November 6th, 2012. The very fate of the world is in your hands.
